This year I have begun exploring the emotional landscape of longing through seemingly inanimate beings like mannequins and androids. This pieces stand in for the human figure, stripped of organic human features, but still capable of emotion through posture and context. In a post-industrial world where A.I. is increasingly treated as a companion whereas human relationships are increasingly reduced to , these works beg the question "what is real?"
